ABOUT THE SHOW: Backed by his Band, Chris Cook presents a mixture of traditional and modern, fast and slow COUNTRY CLASSICS. He plays songs from his extensive (almost limitless) repertoire – many Country songs, both popular and obscure, but all well worth listening to.

Songs are interspersed with highly polished Country Banjo Classics (like Duelling Banjos and Flatt and Scruggs favourites Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Dear old Dixie, Randy Lynn Rag and The Ballad of Jed Clampett) and a variety of interesting fast and furious and sometimes hauntingly beautiful Fiddle Tunes and Waltzes (like Orange Blossom Special, Irish and Cajun Tunes, Ashokan Farewell ,Lover’s Waltz, Georgiana Moon and Midnight on the Water.)

This combination of instrumental variety and excellence, popular old-time and rock‘n roll dance music and Chris’ ability to engage and relate to his audience creates this enjoyable and entertaining, high energy BIG COUNTRY SHOW.
